The Serach for Valkoor Empty

EnvyVendassin: The swish sound of liquid pouring into a wine glass, were music to the ears, in perturb atmosphere. Silence became Envy’s best friend. It never spoke back, it never questions her, it never threatened her, and most of all it allowed her think. A young servant within the Fortress placed the wine glass onto a silver platter, a soft tap from the bottom and away it went. The Young lady servant lifts the platter and with grace she glides across polished marble floor, toward Envy. Five foot six, dark brown hair tied in a ponytail, very thin and with a winning completion, if she was anywhere near appealing. Deformation on the body is common in ZenDasalen. With this individual, her left eye was nearly shut closed with extra skin tapped like over the left corner of the eyelid. She looked like she had a sleepy eye, but that was far from the case. There weren’t really any features to this servant since her face had different twist and turns that made her unrecognizable. All that was there was ugly. The right eye had no eyelid, it cried all the time, but she wasn’t allowed to clean it in front of any of the CruEnd Clannies. The young servant sucked in the saliva; she did this often since she had no lips and most of her skin exceeded past her gums. Top and bottom rows were visible down to the last tooth in the back. Eyes were on the ugly as she made her way closer to Envy. Nothing served her justice, not even the silver silk silhouette flowing in to the back of her as she walked. Beautiful dresses were only worn on those who served in the Fortress. She sucked the saliva forming in her mouth again before speaking. (Ugly servant.) “Your wine, My Lady,” she couldn’t ever speak clear; she sounded as if she was mumbling but Envy knew the girl couldn’t talk correctly. She sucked back her saliva again. Standing at the door frame of the balcony, Envy stood behind the short railing brick wall, overlooking the bridge where heavy traffic is most held at. Tap.. Tap.. Tap, the right index finger continued against the foundation of bricks where her hands rest on. The ugly servant eyes stared at the silver claws on her hand. She never seen Envy wear such a weapon, they resembled talons the servant thought to herself in secret. Sucking her salvia back Envy noticed the Ugly servant was behind her. The tapping stopped, eyes narrowed to the left. (Envy.) “What is it?” Fast words were spoken. (Ugly servant.) “Your wine, My Lady.” Soft with no threat or disrespect intended, her voice sounded. Envy’s narrowed to the people below again. (Envy.) “Why have you wasted my wine?” a potent tone with calmness, but was Envy really calm as she let off to be? (Ugly servant.) “I thought maybe you wanted to ease your mind with wine, My Lady.” No movements, no sound came from Envy. The Ugly servant stared at the feather on the left side of her back, just on top of her shoulder blade. It was inked on her. Wait, the feathers Envy contently have near, were they truly gone?. Her eyes wondered around. She looked down and she saw them scattered on the floor of the balcony. She stepped backward; she noticed she was standing one of them. She assembled herself waiting on Envy. As she waited she noticed more things about Envy. She wore the black adamantium crown, she knew of her crown since she polished it daily. The crown itself weighed a ton, she only assumed since she couldn’t ever lift it on her own, always taking six people all together to get the task done. The crown back piece looked like a big black full moon with designs of different spirals in it. As for the front piece, the crown went across her forehead, with spikes protruding upward dangerously and in the middle held the crest of ZenDasalen in silver adamantium. Her hair pined up leaving only bangs cascading to the sides of her face. Raven black hair, the same color of her sweet hour glass gown, flaring perfectly around at the bottom. She still had the enchanted twin daggers at her back bone. Also the armored adamantium rings around her whole bicep, on both sides; also from her wrist to the middle of her forearm another set of armored rings were there. The feathers started to jump from the ground like fish out of water. This caught the Ugly servant’s attention. (Envy) “Have you ever taste a fine aged wine?” Envy sounded like she wanted to hold a conversation, yet this was not normal to the ugly servant. Envy never talks to those beneath her, in fact all she ever seen Envy do is speaks to those in the Clan but never anything like this. Her thoughts were taking her away. She was stalling. (Envy) “Are you going to answer me, servant.” She continued to hold the same composure as before. The ugly servant realized she made Envy wait. A desperate plea of apology rushed from between her teeth, as the saliva trailed from her teeth, past her exposed redden gums and down her neck. She started to panic, her heart throbbed. The platter started to shake and once the platter started to shake even the wine glass chattered against it. (Envy.) “Don’t spill that glass of wine. You don’t want to see me bothered. I’m sure you don’t.” Envy turned from her left, all the way around to face this ugly servant. Her talons scrapped along the brick, even sparked against it. Eyes narrowed down on her, the servant made sure she didn’t look up. Never look Envy in her eyes. (Envy.) “I want you to take a sip of the wine.” An order clearly in a different tone, than before; the servant’s eyes trailed to the grape coloring wine sitting in the glass. Envy waited, 7foot 11inches towering just feet away from her. Her lavender hues stayed stuck on the ugly servant. Watching how she made the wine glass chatter against the platter, but slowly making one of her hands reach to the glass of wine. Watching how she eased it the rim of the glass to her teeth, Envy wanted to see how this ugly servant will manage drinking it, surely she had no lips, so now Envy became curious now. She tipped her head all the way back and parted her teeth widely, the glass hovered above her mouth and down it poured, and stopped after she felt the burning sensation running down her throat. She coughed; she didn’t expect such wine to be so strong. Already she felt dizzy and her surrounding was coming into a haze. (Envy.) “Too strong for you?” The ugly servant didn’t answer. She was intoxicated quickly. Envy stepped a step closer, the servant noticed that much since she stepped backward. (Envy.) “Tell me servant.. have you told you mother.. or father you loved them before coming to the fortress?” Ugly servant understood what Envy said, it was just coming to her very slow. (Ugly servant.) “Y-yes.” Quickly Envy gripped the girl’s right hand with her left, lifting her from the ground and to eye level to her. She cried and struggled a bit. Even mumbled the words, ‘no, please.’ Yet the servant knew she was going to die when Envy told her to drink the wine. She looked at Envy’s hues, she saw her face directly even with intoxication. She didn’t understand why her beauty calmed her. Could it be she never thought a woman could be so beautiful.. yet so evil. So alluring, the ugly servant dropped the platter, since the wine glass already shattered on the ground. Envy looked at her face up close and personal. For a few moments they stayed like this, looking back and forth between each other. Envy moved her closer to her lips, just the ugly servant’s ear so she may whisper. (Envy.) My face, looks like yours.” It was a whisper and yet the girl didn’t know better it was more of a spell, from the swords Envy spoke. Moving her slowly inches from each other’s faces. Envy inhaled and slowly exhaled softly blowing against her face. At the same time, the ugly servants face started to form painfully into something she probably never thought would or could happen in her life. She struggled and wiggling as Envy as her in a dangle. Screaming in excruciating pain, her other hand palmed her face. Envy looked to the silver platter and with telekinesis she lifts it from the ground flipping it and turning before it got into her hand. The ugly servant started to calm down as the pain became less painful and more so mild. (Envy) “Look girl..” She placed the platter in front of this found beautiful young lady. The ugly servant was shocked, she really was beautiful. It brought tears to her eyes; she couldn’t stop staring at herself. Breathe taking in so many ways. She tried to speak but tears kept her from saying what she wanted to say to Envy. Yet Envy enjoyed watching her be happy, she made someone happy. It felt so good to see such a blessing happen in front of her eyes. (Envy.) “You’re so filled with joy.” Her face had the same expression. The ugly servant scoff as tears rolled down her cherry soft cheeks. (Envy.) “Now you don’t have to die ugly” Such a shocking painted display washed over the ugly servants face as Envy threw her over the balcony and into the trafficking crowd below. The scream of terror screeched in her last scream, yet Envy didn’t find it important to turn around and watch her die. That alone is like a privileged even an ugly servant like her couldn’t have. In turn she walked back into the foyer of the Fortress. Her black dress trailed in her wake. Envy didn’t like to waste wine, but since the knowledge of her pregnancy she hasn’t touched it for a while. Four months now, four long months she has been pregnant and alone without Valkoor. She played with her waist chain dangling around her. (Envy.) “Has there been no word?” A higher tone reached an echo. In reply a mechanical voice answered. (Isis.) “We have informed the War Don, The Elders, and the Nation.” A pausing moment in between, a sound of rushed pressure being released kept the silence away. (Isis.) “We should travel once more.” (Envy.) “To where?”…. (Isis.) “We haven’t looked in the Forsaken Nation.” Mechanical restriction sounds were able to be heard. (Envy.) “There is nothing there.” After Envy said that Sinn flashed before her eyes, immediately Envy stopped in her stride. She rolled her eyes close and maintains her cool. Click clack-click clack-click clack-click clack.. The click clacking abruptly stops. (Anaise.) “Um, yawl knows there’s a young beautiful child laying out there dead, right?” Southern belle of a voice, who could honestly forget it, belonged too? Black and red, signature color for Anaise, just the same as Isis, aqua turquoise. Crimson red hair, bobbed cut, summer hat on top, and a fluffy dress, you could clearly see her undergarments between the widely open slits. Greyish ash looking skin, her eyes red and yellow, and of course her aura shawl floated around her. So sparkly and elegant, Anaise didn’t need to carry weapons. (Anaise.) “I guess I ain’t going to be answered.” Envy turned to face her. The first thing she noticed, Anaise didn’t have her necklace. Anaise held up her index finger and stopped Envy before she spoke. (Anaise.) “Ah! I have it.” She patted her body down, checking between her breasts. (Envy.) “It isn’t there, since I can see right through your corset.” A giggled erupted. (Anaise.) “I know right!” She giggled again as she checked between her legs and a bit up her mid-way. (Anaise.) “Ah! I think I found it… Ah huh!” She pulled it out between her legs, placing it around her neck. Envy grunted and turned away. (Anaise.) “I heard something about the Forsaken Nation?” Her eyes were dancing from Envy to Isis who was hidden in shadows of the Fortress. (Anaise.) “I think it was be a slen-“ (Envy.) “You over welcomed your mouth, shut it.” No one said a word as Envy thought. The thoughts of never finding Valkoor angered her, or what if he had done what Kyuzo had done to Sinn. Thinking about it flexed her jawline in anger. (Envy.) “Isis, send the word, let all know there will be a search for Valkoor in the Forsaken Nation.” She twisted on the heels of her feet and headed toward the door, her feathers subtracted from the ground and shot around, rotating in a circular motion. Walking past the doors she raised her voice. (Envy.) “I don’t care where he is, I will find him, even IF we have to search worlds a par!” (Envy’s inner thought.) ~”If you have left me Valkoor, I will kill you for your betrayal.”~ Back in the foyer Anaise was a little taken back in Envy’s action, she turned to Isis to comment but she was gone as well. (Anaise.) “Well I’ll be damned.”

LadyMarquette: -Having never really cared where she was or where she'd end up, Elaney wandered through the vast landscape of the long stretch of clearing before her. She decided to allow the right of life to the kind stranger who allowed her access to his traveling carrivan of others, though she was pretty hungry. She should have at the very least robbed them of a child or two; no one would miss them too fairly, she was sure. In any case, the clearing before her smelt of pine and ever frost, though it wasn't near winter just yet--a telltale of the misfortune of bitter cold and prickling skin. Of course, Elaney could not feel hot nor cold temperatures, but the snow seemed to drag her down, even though she wasn't so sure it actually did. Though Elaney was strong-willed and fun, she lacked the caring of detail. She didn't pay too close attention to little things--things that needn't be worried about, in her opinion. Upon passing the clearing, it suddenly hit her that she was going to be walking through forests. She closed her eyes and sighed. Forests, trees, bushes--all not welcoming to beautiful clothes and vulumtous hair. With an upmost pout on her delicate-featured face, Elaney began to hum a beautiful, soft melody, one that would probably not be heard by humans....of course, she'd never paid much attention to whether or not humans could hear the call for her Hotaru, so she couldn't be sure. The Hotaru around her, wizzing and buzzing silently about, all began to cling together before her very being, stretching and becoming somewhat a sparkling, bright-purple fabric, which when they were finished, resembled something like a really pretty contact lens. She continued to hum just as she started through the forest edge. The Hotaru would keep themselves in this manner; blocking away all the hanging branches and preadatoring snakes and ghouls, alike. They would remain until Elaney wished them away. She wasn't sure why these Hotaru did such things for her, but then again, she really didn't care. She once thought that, perhaps, they had once been apart of her own being, but she couldn't remember, and never really cared so much to try. Whatever the reason, the Hotaru was hers and they always made sure she stayed safe. Which was awesome, because Elaney could get herself into such awfully sticky situations . As she neared a giant oak tree, she suddenly picked up a wiff of whatundoubtedly to be a male scent. Wonderful, she thought to herself, she's starve if she didn't replenish herself soon. Then would come and even worse fate than starving to death....but Elaney never dwelled on that horrendous event ever happening because it was such a negative thing to think about. She hugged a moss, vine-draped tree once she grew close enough to the scent. She knew for sure there was a man, but she knew they would probably be surrounded by the company of woman--cause men most often need to have woman around. For what reason, Elaney never knew, cause she knew woman were too bitchy, sometimes. She crept around the tree to view past the other random tree scattered about. It was odd, the way to village sat in such a deep, random gorge. What recourses to dig this apparent man-made gorge? Deciding she didn't really care, either way, Elaney moved a bit slower around the tree and closer to the lip of grassy plain before her. The steep slope wasn't adorned with flower, but several mushroom fungi painted an even greener picture. "Hello?" She called out to anyone who was close enough in ear-shot to hear, and waited for a reply.

Lulipopz: ???: '' You get back here! '' ; '' NY~EH! Make me! ''; ???: You realize when I catch you I'm going to wring your stupid neck! '' ; '' Pshaw! As if necks were stupid..'' chided a rather immature voice delved in a dulcet tune. Soaring backwards in mid air, floating ''naturally'', well kept fingernails pry at the under lids of eyes and drew down porcelain skin to expose bright white irises and neon pink veins as opposed to human crimson. Playful laughter echoes throughout the metallic halls after tongue blurted out in a wet raspberry taunt that was flung to the much smaller half-pint fairy like creature. Faesya: '' Would you stop acting like a!! UGH! That does it! You're mine! '' wings that rapidly beat to their own drum created a harmonic display of beautiful colors, a prism splash that created an aura around tiny glittering body which made her physical appearance seem surreal and resembled a free floating spirit orb or perhaps a speck of firework aftermath. A rainbow dust trail follows close behind the small creature that took a sharp left then shot up over the table that a playful sprite, Luli, decided best to go beneath. Tiny hands extend for scarf's hem but fell short as Luli sped up and twirled away only to look forward after taunting again to see something that made her gasp in fear. A door. A very big and heavy door. Tried to put on the breaks right away but didn't have enough time to stop thus went tumbling face first into the cracked passage that lead to the inner sanctum of the Elder Gods whom were consulting which each other over a grave issue. The sudden swing of the door had the robed silhouettes almost jump out of the temporary physical manifestations only to curl their brows in anger and fiercely appoint their cold visage onto the skidding figure of a face planted sprite that skidded across the polished floor until tumbling over in a head first roll. Ended up with feet in the air, resting just at the base of a spectacularly large ''all seeing orb'' that reminded her, from the bottom looking up, of a giant crystal ball. Bare toes wriggle freely, multicolored, neon glowing hair spilled out from their confined pigtails and acted as a shimmering celestial sea for on which a four nine petite body laid upon. Blinking and sheepishly wriggling fingers in a hello before the attitude went from surge to scourge. ???: '' As I was saying... are we going to do something about her, or not? '' ???: '' Why should we? '' ???: '' I second this. She poses little threat to our Grand Scheme so why extend resources. ???: '' I'm not so sure of that, we shouldn't be hasty. This is a woman who has caused even the mightiest of the Realm's warriors to falter on their path, after all. '' ???: '' Are you fearful of one of her kind? '' | Bickering. So like them. After their attention went from scolding to taking pop shots at each other, up the bare footed sprite would go with a pat off of dirt from transparent body, quivering eyes churn then to the image of three individuals (Envy/Isis/Anaise) who are examined for a good long while after rising up in air, mortal hands taking shape inside the congolamative shining cloud that is her body had roped up ankle long hair into twin pony tails that rest to mid ribs. Had turned to gaze to the much taller council who continued to bicker amongst themselves about women on the screen, gazing back to this figure.. ''Envy''.. with an increasing interest only to yelp from a now covered mouth as Faeysa had daringly arrived to yank her away by the ear. Luli: '' Mmrrrph! Owww! Lemme go, lemme go, lemme goooo! '' Faesya: '' Shut it, puffn'cakes! You know how much trouble you could of been in! What were you thinking?! '' having twerked ear for good measure just to make sure the message sunk in about how bad the situation truly was, and didn't let go of the ear until outside of the chambers and the doors to be shut then sealed by the Elders inside. With a deep exhaled breath the tiny creature released the ear and would bring hands to what took shape as hips or somewhat resembling the human adaptation. Liquid like body of the fae matching this sprite which always looked more or less like quivering pools of neon lit water. Some would say angelic, others have spoken of camphoric beings; but most all legends when it comes to these ''heavenly lights'' speak of the mischievous on goings. And what couldn't be further from the truth, and here now Luli rubs the prominent feature of an ear accompanied by a whining fuss. Luli: '' You didn't have to drag me out of there you know! '' Faesya: '' Be lucky that's all that happened to ya! You won't just be getting an earful from me but the Guardians as well! What were you thinking? '' Luli: '' Honestly.. ..nothing! Heh. I just kinda went with the f~l~o~w you know? But umn, hey.. about what I saw in there.. '' Faesya: '' Nunya. And that's the end of it. '' Luli: '' OH! Come on! There's no WAY I can just forget about something like that! Did you see her? Something bigs going on if they're bringing her up again! '' Faesya: '' You'd be best not knowing, nor caring as it doesn't pertain to the likes of us. That be the Elders' responsibility and none of us will be changing that any time soon. Now go be on your best behavior and lets return to the WyldesVai. '' Luli: '' Alright, I guess so.. but umn.. .. did you hear what they said? '' Faesya: '' Now I be done telling ya we're not the type to be caring' about the Elde--'' cut off quickly Luli would shake head and raise voice just a bit, '' No! Not the Elders, tinytot. I'm talking about the women, that Envy Lady. She spoke of the Forsaken Nation! '' - Now far be it from Faesya to really put much effort into lending an ear but more than often would she cast a glare, this one though more wrought with concern than depravity. Faesya: Now you be listened good, Luli. That has nothing to do with us, and whatever is spawning in that hollow woods upstairs hasn't any right for a breath. Quell it now before you go and get curious. We've got much too much to be doing, no time to dilly up your ridiculous schemes. '' And that was that as far as the Fae familiar is concerned, heaping its tiny arms in a cross with its pink/silver eyes burrowing deep into the softer tint of neon sky blue that darts away after floating frame's pivot. Had circled around to face the door, Luli did, with an extended hand to be halted by a shivering ripple of time distortion; the field of magic's on the chamber's entrance was reinforced by the Elders inside. '' I'm tired of being cooped up inside of this timeless void.. .. ...I want to go out and have fun again. '' Faeya: '' No doubt at other's expense, no? Every time you've gone out in addling with no guard there's been nothing but chaos and a mess! No one in any right frame of mind is going to give you a go outside the protection, you still need a lot of learning' me say. '' Luli: '' Is it really that bad to just want to have fun? '' Faesya: '' Fun is to be had by all, you are a bag of tricks. Come now, come on! No time for sulking, we've got to busy ourselves and busy I can make us be! Chores and like. '' and that was that. Had lowered down in a slump of silver, creeping along in the air at a slow pace having followed behind the dashing light of Faesya who kept a stern look upon her. Would seem that she wouldn't escape just yet and get out to the world, but during this long float down a desolate hallway in between Time and the United Realms, she'd continuously think about what was and is being discussed. About that woman and the Forsaken Lands.. .. a powerful stir of want is rising, a stir to seek adventure. And far be it from her to just let the answer go uncalled. For now though would remain on the heels of this prison's vanguard.. ~ [ Echoing Remnants ]

JadenMEvans: "Prince Kai! Prince Kai!" Called out a child from the surrounding small civilization living near the doorstep of his palace. The child called out the princes name as if he were a friend to him. The reason why he called out though, was another matter, after all, having the shock of your life, when a messenger from the capital tells you to relay a message from the queen, before dying, with swollen bleeding toes, and practically no meat upon his bones. He must have travelled as fast as he could, just to be able to reach this place, but the point he stopped was as far as he could go, which was even further than his horse could, since it had died halfway through the journey, yet he died, still doing the Queens will. Kai sat upon his throne casually, staring into space, as the workers around him polished his already reflectively clean white floor, and walls. The place was impossibly silent, save for the sound of cleaning. The scent of all kinds of luxury soaps and whatnot wafted around the spacious throne room, yet the Prince himself couldn't stand the smell. In his mind, it literally smelt like all kinds of foul things, even if it was soap. His sense of smell made it extremely annoying to even want to have to smell anything other than fresh air, which also smelt awkward. The only way to get through this, was y ignoring it, which Kai did brilliantly. his selective attention span made him good at focusing on what he wanted to focus on, while completely disregarding other things, as if they were not there. Even though the child ran from afar, Kai could hear the very footfalls of the young lad, along with the call of his slowly tiring, and unbroken voice. He sat completely still, seemingly in his own world while he stared at nothingness. "Prince Kaaai!" The child called out again, once reaching the doors of the palace. Kai said nothing, and didn't need to. all he did was look to the large door on his left which was left ajar slightly. in the second he looked, a tall figure, seemingly gliding, with a flawless stride moved past the throne room door and toward the main door. Kai looked forward into nothingness again as he heard the calm, but extremely seductive voice of his puppet, Nel, the ex wife of Ren Salvatore, permanently enslaved by Kai. "Let us see what this child's verbal cholera is stemming from." She said, clearly talking to the huge 14ft centaurs which guarded the doors. With a loud stony scraping sound, the heavy doors were opened slowly. The child, with his hands on his knee's, crouched over, breathed heavily before looking up once the doors had opened fully. "I- I was instructed to give this- give this message to the prince." The child said before holding up a scroll. Nel stepped forward, her dainty bare feet making no sound, just as her long and flowing shimmering white dress did as it brushed the floor slightly. She held her hand out before the child placed the scroll in her hand, and then walked away, waving her hand for the centaurs to close the gates. The child looked up and made a sound of distain before leaning up abit. Just then, Nel turned slowly on the balls of her feet, as her upper body didn't move an inch while the centaurs slowing down on closing the doors, mainly because of the chill that ran down their spine at the dropping temperature. Nel's shimmeringly icy (Almost white) bright blue hair was only a few shades brighter than her eyes which now became a darker shade of blue, rather than the exact same shade as her hair. In her mind, she could not fathom what the child wanted in return for passing on this message. her face was straight with no emotion what so ever. Nobody would notice what was happening until they looked upon the child, who's lips were slowly turning blue, and skin was drained of all colour. The boy still breathed, but barely, his body felt like an ice block, even struggling to shiver as a natural reaction. "Go home." She said sweetly as if nothing had happened, before turning again in the same manner she turned toward him, and walking away. She walked so elegantly that as she walked into the throne room without even havign to touch the door, the workers cleaning the floors hadn't even noticed that she had walked in, in fact, they only looked up when they heard Kai shift in his throne for the first time in a number of hours. His phantom eyes watched Nel as she kneeled on a step before the small elevation his throne was on, holding the scroll up. She of all people knew that Kai was not the person to try and hand something to, for reasons even she knew not, so she wasn't surprised when she felt the scroll lift from her hands, into the air, and unravel itself, all the doing of Kai's telekinesis. With a long and calm sigh which barely made a sound, Kai raised his tall 7.5ft form from his throne, his royal attire complete with black gloves made of rare quality black fabric, and reflective leather, contrasting heavily with the orderly mess of white hair, eyes and light skin tone he donned. His tattoo upon the front of his neck was barely visible, while the tattoo on the back of his neck wasn't even visible. he walked forward, his shoulders covered by heavy fur which was attached to a long cape-like fabric on his back, which when it moved, even sounded heavy. Nobody would notice the weight of the attire while he had it on, they would only know of it if they ever tried to move it by his orders, which was less than likely. The extreme neatness of Kai's palace was just a reflection of the rather obsessive order Kai maintained, reasons which nobody knew or ever wanted to question. Kai looked straight at Nel, not having to say a word, from the connection he shared with her. all that she replied was, "Yes, Prince Kai." After he told her she must stay put until his say so. With that, Kai walked right out of his throne room and toward the front doors, which were already opened for him without question. He paid no mind to the child with blue in the distance who's lifeless was being picked up off the ground by other villiagers, some of which were screaming in greif, instead, he looked up to the patchy sky and crouched slightly before blasting into the air and once reaching 600ft, leaning in the direction of the Vendassin capital, and blasting in that direction, with a loud, 'BANG' sound which reverberated off the mountains surounding his territory, and even shaking the very ground itself below momentarily. (10 mins later) The sound of air rushing from one direction could be heard as villiagers went about day to day activities. Some of them looked to the sky and then knew exactly what was happening before clearing out. People with their carriages, and their markets cleared off, some carriages staying, harbouring people within them, looking out to the sky through small box windows. Out of nowhere, a black figure with a long cape flowing toward the ankles could be seen landing upon the bridge with a 'Thud' sound which was followed by an awkward sensation with the air pressure which would make most ears feel clogged and uncomfortable. Kai walked casually along the bridge toward the large doors of the capital, his walk being straight postured and smooth. He was sure that Envy was within the building, but the thing that made him wonder about this whole situation was the question of how in the world would Envy let Valkoor out of her sight, or even better, what was Valkoor thinking, trying to go missing. Kai was sure that if they didn't find him immediately, and he was still alive, he would be classed as a traiter, and killed upon sight. Kai shook his head at this, only for the fact that he knew he couldn't allow that to happen so easily. either way, Kai knew this whole situation was something more to do than day to day activities as of late, so once the doors were opened by the large minotaur's guarding them, Kai looked around for the first person he could get some information from within the foyer.

EnvyVendassin: As Envy prepared to transfer her, and a few others through a teleportation portal down stairs in her summoning hall; elsewhere in the Forgotten Nation in a village a man yelled out. (Elder Sireen.) “Meeting in the judging hall, meeting in the judging hall!” People in this village scattered like ants making it hard to pick up anyone who just entered onto the grounds. This was one of the most important calling in this village. The elderly man had short wild snow white hair, he looked like a crazed professor, and he wore a green robe and walked with a wooden staff at the top the wood curved around a green gem or crystal of some sort. Hunched at the back he stood 6ft, if he stood in full height he would be 6’3. He watched as the people hurried to the judgment hall, it was mandatory in the village there were no excuses to never attend for anyone. A woman hurried toward the elderly man. (Mendy.) “Elder Sireen, Elder Sireen!” an outreach voice trying to grab Elder Sireen’s attention, but his hearing wasn’t so keen at his age. He eventually saw the woman and his attention connected to her distress. (Elder Sireen.) “What is it Mendy?” She tried to catch her breath before speaking. She looked around to the people who were worried and rushed to the judgment hall as fast as they could. (Mendy.) “What is the matter Elder Sireen, what has happened? Why is there a call, is she upset?” Her eyes eventually connected with his sadden blue eyes. His face sagged like foreskin that didn’t belong. Elder Sireen placed his liver spotted hand onto her shoulder, offering a smile that looked force. (Elder Sireen.) “She has spoken to me directly, it is time to prepare child.” He said as low as he could. Mendy’s eyes widen, Elder Sireen turned his head to his right looking at the statue of a woman with a built shrine around it. As this took place Envy and a few others arrived in Forgotten Nation, just 3 miles from her old village, the Forsaken Village. She forgot how hot and humid this place got. (Envy.) Ugh, this place reeks of past events I care not to remember.” Laced with disgust in every word she spoke. She looked around the place, nothing but tall trees and thick green forest. Her feathers circled her in a counter clock wise rotation, very slow and calm. Her aura potent in a thick fine outline around her body, even though it’s not visible to the eye, it was there. She wasn’t sure where to look in this place, everything she knew about this place has either gone into ruins or she killed the last of those who would remember the Forsaken Village and the people that once were before the convert to the North. The only place she could think about is the village with the underground domain she built long ago. She looked to the sun; the guards who accompanied her strolled around, making sure there were no surprises if there were any to come. Envy looked to her right shoulder, the sun was hitting her on her right, and she knew the way to the Forsaken Village now in ruins were to their left. (Envy.) “That way is where we start.” No one questioned her direction; they followed the way she pointed. At the Village Elder Sireen spoke in front of the village people at the main estate across the bridge, just on the other side from where the sacred statue is. (Elder Sireen.) “She has spoken to me.” Horse sounding from age, his hands glided across the air as if he could see something so marvelous before his eyes. Some scoffed and gasped relief. (Elder Sireen.) “Yes.. YES, it is true.” Nodding his head while others whispered, some dried and most prayed and hugged one another. (Back at the capital) Anaise went to look for Envy but she wasn’t found, she already left, and the portal had already closed. (Anaise.) “Well shucks, I’ll be damned again.” Spoken in a silly tone, turning on the balls of her heels she started her way toward the double doors, they were open, and it saved her the trouble of hearing the awful sound of it scrapping at the bottom. As much money as ZenDasalen has, Envy never invested her money to fix anything. Anaise yield in her stride once she saw him. A flirtatious smirk remodeled her plain lips. (Anaise’s inner thought.) ~”All grown up I see. Mm.” ~ While approaching she was undressing Kai with her eyes, if only she could for real, but she knew Envy and if not Kai would have her dead. She chuckled at the thought. Stopping about 15ft away from him. (Anaise.) “Welcome home Prince Kai. You just missed ya motha. She went to the Forsaken Nation.. The Forgotten Nation or whatever it is now.” Chuckled as she waved her right hand out to the side, it was the idea of the name the Forsaken Nation got after being in isolation for so long. (Anaise.) “I’m guessen ya going to meet up with hea?” She played with her dress as she twisted her hips in a seductive manner. (Anaise.) “I and Isis will be joining her shortly. Is there anything you need?” She looked down to his waist, God only knows what she was thinking before she returned her eyes back to his facial area.

JadenMEvans: As Kai looked around, he shook his head at the fact that the place always looked so dark. Not that he cared, but in general, it could do with a good clean. The high walls and celing were dark and musky and he could just smell outside from where he stood inside. At least it wasn't as bad as out there. The approaching smell of ash and all kinds of burning alerted him to the approach of Anaise before the sound of her footfalls did. He looked up to where she was coming from and observed how she didn't bother coming more than 15ft toward him. Wether she did this to give him space, or not, he knew she did herself a favour, because as far as Kai could remember during any encounter with her, she was just a harlot version of his mother. After she explained to him without him even needing to ask, he got all the information he needed. Infact, something in him told him he was going to have alot of flashbacks since where he was headed was the pace he learned to be the relentless killer which he was today. even still, the rainforest right next to it was even the place he grew up in. It would certainly be a mission he is actually connected to through early memory. Kai turned his back upon Anaise in one swift movement, as if she wasn't there immediately, not caring much to acknowledge her anymore, since she had proved her worth to him for the time being. She may have some worth to Envy, But Kai refused to even acknowledge her unless she had something he wanted, which right now, was nothing. Just as she spoke, asking him if there was anything else he needed, Kai turned his head slightly, thinking to himself what it was she actually said, since he wasn't actually paying attention. 'Oh.' He thought to himself, remembering what she had said roughly 6 seconds later. "I need you to cross your legs." Kai said before looking forward again, and clapping his hands together once, making a 4ft wide, and 10ft tall portall wall of white fire burst from the ground up, in front of him. "And keep them crossed too. I can smell you from here." he said before walking foward into the portal with his cape blowing about in the artificial wind the portal had created, which blew about the whole foyer, making the servants' hair and clothes all flail about in it. Once gone, the portal closed and left the place in silence just as it was before Kai arrived.

EnvyVendassin: The more Envy and her guards got closer to the village, she sensed a strong change in the area, but then again it has been so many years since she ever stepped foot back in this place. The landscape had grown over the scars it got from the wars. Nature has healed itself. They were less than a mile from the village location. She stopped, Inhaled deeply. The aroma of fresh baked bread was not normal. Confusion swept across her face. (Envy’s inner thought.) ~”No.”~ She rushed ahead, they followed her, and she didn’t care if they were in the first place. Using her hand she broke through the branches to her own short cut. She heard rushing water, bond fires popping and in the distant, people were merry. Breaking down nature she saw glimpses of structures just ahead. This caused her to break from the rainforest faster in desperation of what had become of her ruins here. She skids to an abrupt stop. Her eyes were bulging from her sockets, anymore she they would have popped out. The guards caught up to her and they too stopped. They wasn’t sure why Envy was so shocked, they never been here but if they knew was this place was, what is stood for.. they too would have been shocked as she. (Back at the Fortress.) Anaise looked to her nails, once Kai spoke his fail suggestions, she smiled to them as he passed through his portal. Her dress swished in different directions, yet she didn’t care in the world if any part of her was showing. (Anaise.) “Oh Sir Kai.. tell me something I haven’t already heard.” In a whisper tone followed with a giggle. The air vanished just as fast as it came. (Anaise.) “I guess I’ll be the one there last.” Everything she did always at her own pace. Anaise continued her way outside. (At the Forsaken Village.) Envy made her way toward the statue in a built gazebo, decorated with flowers and fruit also large beautiful shawls of green and while. The more she grew closer this large statue started to form an image. She stopped at the bottom of the gazebo, not stepping foot into it. (Envy.) “You.” Exhaling the word, almost in disbelief. (Inside of Envy head SHE speaks to Envy.) ~”Did you think I would really forget about you? Tsk tsk tsk.. you almost broke my heart, if I had one.” (Envy.) “Get out of my head.” She steps back from the statue. (Inside of Envy’s head SHE speaks to Envy.) ~”I want what is rightfully mine, give it back, Envy. You are no match for me if I have to somehow rise from Hell and take it. You’re not disciplining it the way it should. My poor body, you are wrecking it. I will have my body, you will have it today!”~ She looked to her guards, for some reason they were solid, not moving an inch. Her senses picked up a breath exhaling behind her. With swift speed she turned to face this person she knew not of. Feathers turned adamantium, sounding of lethal scissors. (Envy.) “Who are you!” She demanded, she was livid, when Envy loses her calm and collective composure, she doesn’t see any side that is hers, everyone was an enemy and slowly SHE was corrupting it without Envy knowing it. (Elder Sireen.) “We have been waiting for you my Goddess.” He prompted his staff firmly into the ground. Holding one hand into the other, showcasing a welcoming smile. (Envy.) “No fool, I’m no Goddess! What have you done to my ruins?” Vicious tone in demand had no effect to Sireen. (Elder Sireen.) “Only of Goddess blood may step as close as you are now to .. well.. yourself.” He dipped his head, insinuating the statue. (Envy.) “You fool.” A step she took closer to him, she wasn’t taking this easy. (Envy.) “You have you been tricked by Sinn.” She pointed to the statue that resembled her in a way. One thing for sure, she was going to destroy this place. Her rage got the best of her, Sinn knew she always were able to get to Envy. She raised her right hand; Sireen didn’t move he stood there behind his staff with the same smile. A small orb gathered in the middle of her palm, she was going to use Sinn’s signature move, but Envy was stupid here. She wasn’t as powerful as she would, her being pregnant kept her from becoming at her best and this man knew it. She wanted everything to go, the more she listened to Sinn laugh Envy grew angrier. She was blinded, not taking notice of the crystal’s fate glow illuminating within it. At the time her aura gathered enough for a straight shot at the village the man’s crystal, formed a shield large enough to form a mirror like structure field. Once Envy shot her aura, she then noticed her mistake; the aura reflected back to her and knocked her out cold, right into the statue of Sinn. (Elder Sireen.) “It is time.” He picked up his staff and walked slowly toward the gazebo.

The Serach for Valkoor Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Serach for Valkoor   The Serach for Valkoor I_icon_minitimeTue Aug 04, 2015 9:12 pm

Valkoor: ( The night before. ) "We have the keep surrounded. The monster is inside. Prepare to storm the place!" The captain called out to his subordinates around him. A garrison of at least thirty well armed men now gathered around the old remnants of a castle that had aged greatly from time and nature's influence. Archers took position around the castle, while some men prepared the siege equipment to tear down its walls. The rest of the troops gathered their swords and spears and readied to charge into the castle once the gate was down, which was now being battered by a roughly made wooden ram. Each time the ram struck the gate it would sound out loudly into the surrounding forests, and with each strike the gate became weaker. The men waited for the moment to strike, while they also kept their eyes open for the possibility that the monster inside that they targeted might attack before they broke down the castle's gate. They had been tracking the beast for several days and nights with little rest in between. There were several reports and sightings of the creature they targeted, and how it ravaged the land and killed without mercy, taking whatever it wanted and destroying what it didn't. The troops had yet to see the creature fully, as it was very elusive, but they knew that it was quite large in both height and size. Its physical features made it look almost human, but they knew otherwise. It was a demon to these men, a demon that had to be brought down. Another strike from the ram would inform the men that the gate was on the verge of obliteration. The captain of the garrison, noted by his heavier armor and the fact that he was the only one on horseback, drew his sword as he held it up towards the night sky. With a roar he would call out to his men to boost their morale for the moment that they would attack. "Steel yourselves for what is about to come. This is a battle that we cannot afford to lose!" The gate was struck again, only this time it would not be able to withstand the impact. With a loud crashing sound the gate would burst apart from its hinges, and the men at the front would immediately charge through the new opening. Their battlecries could be heard all throughout the forests around the keep, as well as by the monster they hunted that lurked inside its walls. A group of seven charged through the castle, their weapons at the ready as they searched for the beast. There was no artificial lights within the castle to help them, and with the sun long lost to them by the night sky, they had little to see. One soldier would call to the men outside. "It's too dark in here, we can't see a thing!" He turned to face the opening of the keep as he waited for someone to bring torches for the men inside. It was during this waiting that one of the other men would notice a faint sound from the upper floor. He looked up, his eyes wary as he attempted to see in the dark. As his eyes focused, he would see dust shaking away from the ceiling, as if something or someone was moving around on the floor directly above. A shaky gasp came from the man as he waved his hand towards the other men around him to gain their attention, before pointing directly at the ceiling for them to see what he saw. Something was in fact above them, the soft sounds of boots pressing against the stone of the second floor that caused the foundation of the ruins to quiver. The torches arrived just in time for the men to prepare, and silently they gathered together at the base of the stairwell. One man would venture up alone with his torch and blade. As he reached the top of the staircase, he would turn to look out into the room of the second floor. Several long seconds passed, but nothing would come of it. He continued to look around, but saw nothing. Eventually, the soldier would turn away to give the rest of his men the clear to advance up the stairs, but as he turned his back on the room he would find himself making a mistake that he could not correct. The moment his eyes left the room, a heavy thud would catch him off guard as it shook the entire castle. The soldier knew it to be the monster, now standing directly behind him. In his mind, he battled with himself to turn around. He knew he would die here, as he was completely alone and open. The monster had shown no mercy to others as of yet, so why would he be spared? He felt himself shaking as the creature's breath blew gently down the back of his armor. It sent chills down his spine, shaking him to his very core. His eyes were wide with panic, but with reluctance he would turn to meet his fate. Before him he saw something he did not expect to see. To his eyes, he knew it to be the monster they were after. It was as massive as it had appeared to be, standing at a remarkable eight feet. From its head it grew massive horns that added an extra foot to its overall height. Long flowing hair fell around a face of unimaginable beauty, a face so warm and inviting that it was hard to look away from. Around its forehead the creature had wrapped a simple cloth bandana to keep its hair from falling over its eyes, which gazed down intently onto the soldier before it. The soldier wanted to turn and run, so desperately with every fiber of his being did he wish to run, but he could not. He was lost in the deep abyss that lurked behind the beast's crimson pools. He knew all to well, as did the rest of the garrison, that the beast was capable of somehow freezing people when they caught his gaze. While he tried his hardest to resist, there was nothing to save him now. He felt a bead of sweat form above his brow as the creature slowly raised one of its hands. The soldier, still lost in the trance of the creature's eyes, would not even notice his death. The creature's hand shot forward, and with a gathering of its fingers, its clawed ends dug through his armor like it was made of cloth. The entire hand would bore through the man's chest, a large splatter of blood now spewing behind him to stain the walls. As the blood would ooze down the stairs, the man would crumple around the creature's hand, before being shaken off and thrown across the room. His body fell limp against the floor as the soldier's life left him, the light fading from his eyes never to return. After discarding its first victim of the garrison, the creature turned its attention towards the stairs as it slowly made its way down each and every step, ignoring the sounds of the troops below as they now saw both the blood from the first soldier, and the looming shadow of the predator as it stalked its new prey. They rushed out of the castle, their fear surging life into the ruins of the keep as they fell across the lawn outside. The garrison noticed their fear and upon seeing his men in such a shape, the captain of the garrison would give the signal to launch the catapaults on the castle. "Tear that building apart! Bury that beast beneath the rubble!" He swung his blade forward as the boulders were shot towards the castle. With each catapault that would sound off, a chunk of the ruins would be torn down. They did not relent on their assault, and as the rain of boulders continued, the archers prepared their arrows to fire. Dousing them in oil, they readied for the beast to be exposed by the ongoing siege, while the rest of the troops around the front of the castle prepared themselves to be the brunt of the attack. Many of them had already concluded that their lives would end on this night, but they accepted their fates for the sake of their families and homes. A large boulder would come crashing down onto the peak of the castle, causing it to crumble onto the lower floors. Eventually, the building gave into the assault as it began to break apart on its own. Heavy waves of dust and debris would spray into the air, shrouding the field with its veil. Several men at the front would be caught in the dust, the sounds of their coughing being the only thing to hear. The six remaining soldiers of the group of seven that had entered the castle originally now waited at the opening, their weapons pointed directly towards the broken doorway. They waited, while the debris began to settle around them for the moment that they would see the beast surface. One man at the front, growing tired of waiting, called out with irritation. "Come out, you demon bastard! You can't hide from us anymore." While he spoke with courage in his voice, he felt no comfort in his own words. He knew them to be nothing more than empty threats, for he had seen with his own eyes what the creature was. In his mind, he had already surrendered, but for the sake of his honor he would fight until he drew his last breath. He watched along with the rest of the garrison until the moment that they would spot the beast, finally emerging from the remains of the keep. He rose like a tower over the men; a large, bulky shadow that would now stand upright to come into full view. As soon as he stood, the men at the front charged. The six of them scattered as they prepared to form a half-circle around the beast, before diving inwards with their blades in their attempt to kill it. But as their blades drew close, it would move. The creature dipped forward, as if expecting one of them to strike at his back. Suddenly, a flurry of massive black feathers would burst from two slits now formed parallel from one another across his back. Heavy wings now flared around the beast, and with a single flex of his wings it would send the circle of troops flying across the field. The veil of dust would be forcibly ripped apart by the gust produced by his wings as he loomed over the men that surrounded him. From his crimson pools, Valkoor met the wary eyes of his attackers. He scoffed at the notion that this was their attempt to kill him, and without hesitation he stepped forward. The men that were thrown away from him now struggled to their feet in time to see him approach them. Out of those six men, four would find themselves sprinting with what strength they had left in their muscles towards the complete opposite direction of Valkoor. He smirked with amusement as he watched them flee, noting them in the back of his mind as he had already decided that he would not be sparing anyone tonight. His eyes then focused through the dust as he saw the archers surrounding him. The captain gave his signal, and the archers would unleash a volley of lit arrows down onto Valkoor. He turned his head away as his wings flexed in front of him. The arrows struck his wings but did not puncture them, much to the archers' surprise. The flames withered as the arrows fell around Valkoor's feet, his wings stretching back out behind him. He looked ahead at the captain of the garrison, his crimson pools burning through the captain's helmet to meet his eyes. He called out specifically to this man, his voice being so cold and fearful, yet so melodic and velvety that it was hard to believe that it belonged to such a menacing creature. "You should not have come here. Now you will all suffer." Valkoor's eyes scrutinized the forest behind the captain, where the handful of soldiers had fled into. He smirked once more, remembering their faces as he continued. "Running will not save you." His knees bent, and with a sudden leap Valkoor would blast through the air with his massive wings sending him straight for the captain's horse. The impact completely destroyed not only his steed, but the captain's entire lower body as he was sent crashing into the trees behind the garrison. His blood sprayed down over his troops as they shouted in horror and shock. Before they could react further, Valkoor was on the move again. His hands dug into the tree that the captain's body was now splattered against, and with his brute strength he would tear the tree from its roots and thrust himself up into the air above the garrison. He loomed over the soldiers one last time before he would hurl the tree down onto them, crushing the last two soldiers that had attacked him earlier. In that moment, as the soldiers watched their comrades be completely crushed by the tree, they would realize just how lost they were in this fight. What morale they had was completely lost, leaving them as nothing more than defenseless cattle awaiting their slaughter. While it was a pathetic sight, Valkoor's lust for their fear filled every bit of him until he could not bare it. They would all die tonight, each and every one of them. His wings flared around him as he dived back down towards the ground, and with a single swoop he would send the troops scattering. Several bodies would fling through the air, crashing into trees and rubble alike. One soldier would meet the misfortune of crashing into one of the catapaults, breaking its formation and causing one of the wooden pillars that held it together to crumble directly beneath his body to puncture his torso. His agony could be felt all throughout the troops as Valkoor continued his hunt. He dove back through the troops as he caught two of them in his hands, before bringing them together with such force that their bodies would be crushed into one another, becoming a disfigured combination of skin and armor. The blood poured over his hands and sprayed across his face, to which Valkoor felt a rush of adrenaline in response to. His lust for combat only made him want more violence. Discarding the two broken bodies in his hands, he would dive into a huddled formation of archers, his weight immediately crushing one of them as he landed directly on their chest. The men began to move away, but as they did Valkoor would catch one by the tail of his hauberk, forcefully dragging him back. His mouth fell open as he revealed a row of sharp fangs before bringing them down onto the soldier's head, crushing his skull and spewing his brains across the field. As he did this, his hand moved for the sheathed sword against the soldier's belt, removing it as he took it in his left hand. His keen senses alerted him to the sounds of several troops now pouncing him from a quickly formed ambushed. While clever, it was not enough to stop him. Valkoor would let the mutilated body in his mouth sink to the ground as he tilted his head to the side to let his eyes see his attackers. He could see the fear resonating from them, but their honor drove them towards him. "How quaint." The words escaped Valkoor in a mocking tone, just as he flicked his right wing behind him. It would crash into the men, completely crushing the first to be struck before sending his body into the rest of the others. As he turned around, Valkoor would make a mental head count of the troops that still remained. Of what stood here, there were still seventeen men left to deal with. He turned his attention to the largest group of soldiers, a formation of men gathered around the seige equipment. His tongue escaped his mouth as it licked across his lips, tasting the blood that stained his skin. As he made his way towards the men, he could hear the heavy thudding of their hearts as they sunk into their chests. The trepidation that rolled off of them was magnificent. Valkoor's empathy let him feel every bit of their fear, and he relished in it. It was his way of feeding on others by manipulating their emotions to his liking. The feeling gave him power, and the power gave him the will to continue living. The blade in his left hand swung forward in a flash, and before the men could react they would see another of their comrades' head roll off into the grass. He took to the men with his blade in one hand, and claws to the other. One by one he ripped apart and mutilated nine more soldiers, their blood pooling around his feet. As he did this, one man would find the courage in his heart to attempt a sneak attack on Valkoor's blind side while he tore one of his comrades apart. He charged Valkoor as he lunged his spear forward, but just before the spear made contact with Valkoor's exposed back, the brave soldier would suddenly feel Valkoor's heavy foot crush into the side of his skull. The impact would hit his temple and cause his head to burst open, spraying a heavy wave of blood across the field. Valkoor's foot whirled back around to his side before he flowed into another dash, sending himself towards a huddled group of three. His sword came down the middle of one of them, while his fist pounded into the gut on another, crushing him against the castle wall. The bricks fell around the soldier as the life left him, and with the lone soldier left before him, Valkoor would take his time tormenting his prey. His right hand lifted, stained with blood as it reached for the soldier's face. The soldier stood petrified as he watched Valkoor toy with him. His fingers brushed over the man's cheek, before lightly tracing over his lower lip. His eyes yearned for the man to gaze into them, and he would. Upon eye contact, he would be lost, just as everyone before him had been. Before the man knew it, Valkoor had his hand positioned to easily pry his head in two from the inside of his mouth and outwards. His jaw split beyond what the human anatomy would allow before his body completely collapsed beneath him. He turned his attention towards what remained of the garrison, his eyes gleaming as he eyed the three soldiers circling him. As he faced them, something clicked in his mind. Valkoor let the blade fall from his left hand and into the grass. At this point, he felt no need to use the blade. In fact, he saw no reason to even approach these men. With all the power he possessed, he could have erased them from the planet from the moment he knew that they were tracking him. If not for his corrupt love for combat, perhaps he might have. While he spent countless years maturing his mind and spirit, his body was addicted to war, and he could never fully satiate it. But for now, he was satisfied. The glimmer in his eyes began to fade as he saw the soldiers as nothing more than the frail beings that they were. Despite their lack of value to him, he was still never one to go back on his decisions. He had already put it in his mind that none would survive, and they would not, but he was not going to be the one to do the work. The very hand he used to hold the blade only moments ago would hover over his side and move up to the center of his chest, as his fingers curled in and his index finger curled upwards. It was the hand sign Valkoor used when using Quintekinesis, or the ability to manipulate life energy. As a Chrysalyn, Valkoor was born with the ability to manipulate his own life force, known as Quintessence, naturally. It was what allowed not just Chrysalyns, but all beings learn new magics and abilities, and as a master of the art Valkoor's power was endless. He smirked at the soldiers as he let his eyes smolder, and within seconds the men would succumb to his gaze. His alluring crimson pools never failed to catch the weak in their traps. The men were frozen in place, no longer capable of even feeling their own bodies. They would simply be lost in the endless abyss that all men and women saw when caught in his gaze, and they would never want to leave it. While they would be lost in their own trances, his hand would flick towards the left, and his own Quintessent energy would follow. It seeped from his body in a green flurry, scattering across the trees nearby. Seeping into the trees, they began to react to the drastic increase of life now stirring throughout their cells. Suddenly, it was as if someone had released the trees from the bonds that held them still, and they ruptured through the air with life. Their branches grew wild and waved about ravenously, now sharing the same bloodlust as Valkoor once did. Their branches would begin attacking the soldiers in various ways, from picking them apart limb by limb to strangling the very life from them by their chests until their bones would break. He watched the entire act until it reached its end, and eventually the trees would lose his energy and become still once more, although they retained their abnormal sizes. He shrugged at the entire performance, no longer excited by the act of killing. He simply turned away, and let his eyes catch the moon above. It was beginning to set, which meant that the sun would soon rise. He sighed as he turned away from the field of corpses behind him, his wings flexing as he prepared to take off. His mind immediately flashed back to the faces of the four soldiers that fled from him, and his body led him their way. As the sun rose, the forest would be met with more bloodshed, until every last soldier had found their way into the afterlife.
